On May 17th, Poggenpohl, along with 12 other showrooms in the Flatiron district of New York City, opened their doors to professional designers and architects for The Architect’s Newspaper 2017 Cocktail Crawl. Each location offered signature drinks and special prizes for their guests as well as the promise to be entered into a drawing for a gift card after they visited at least 7 of the showrooms. On January 17, Poggenpohl and Caesarstone partnered to reveal Cooking by the Book’s new state-of-the-art kitchen design. On October 19, over 150 architects attended the Poggenpohl Park Design Showroom Cocktail Crawl sponsored by The Architect's Newspaper, Archtober, and NYCxDESIGN in the Flatiron District of New York City.
Poggenpohl was one of 11 participating showrooms in the crawl. The architects who participated were entered into a raffle if they visited seven showrooms. Poggenpohl Downtown New York hosted the filming of a cooking segment hosted by Bravo TV's Rick Moonen. In addition to being a star on Top Chef, Season 6: Las Vegas, Mr. Moonen is an accomplished restaurateur, having owned acclaimed establishments in Las Vegas and New York City. Mr. Moonen is also a passionate advocate for sustainable fishing practices. Poggenpohl brings a touch of luxury to the Hamptons with two lavish kitchen designs created exclusively for the elite Seaview Development project underway in East Hampton, New York. The development features two luxury residences inspired by a modern interpretation of farm style buildings. The HC&G Innovation in Design Awards, now in its 6th year, honors top design in the Hamptons.
Design submissions are judged by an exclusive panel of judges comprised of key influencers in the design industry of their respective fields. Winners will be announced at the HC&G IDA Awards Gala on August 4 at Campbell Stables in Bridgehampton, NY.
