Poggenpohl showroom, on the London Road in St Albans, has re-launched on the past 22 May with an evening of cocktails and canapés, culminating in a charity auction. It is now boasting six beautiful new displays including a working kitchen fitted with Gaggenau appliances which was used on the night by Michelin Star chef Paul Gayler to wow the guests with a cookery demonstration.
A cocktail mixologist, working from the Zip filtered, boiling and sparkling water tap helped the event go with a swing and music was provided by a string quartet.
The evening ended with a lively auction and raffle presented by celebrity guests and Poggenpohl customers Bradley Walsh and Amanda Lamb which raised £4,780 for the charity Children With Cancer.
Poggenpohl’s UK Sales Director, Julia Bunney, said “Our St Albans showroom pulls in customers from a wide catchment area so this event gave us the perfect opportunity to invite customers - past and present, from Hertfordshire and beyond - to view the latest Poggenpohl displays.
Poggenpohl is very much at the heart of St. Albans, we have formed strong relationships with other businesses in the town and regularly hold events in our spacious showroom that support the local community.”
“The Poggenpohl name is synonymous with good design. Every discerning cook should aspire to own a Poggenpohl kitchen.” Bradley Walsh stated.
