Poggenpohl outfits iconic De Gustibus Cooking School in New York with an extraordinarily beautiful and functional kitchen design.
De Gustibus reopens for its 35th anniversary with a fully transformed classroom and operational kitchen that mixes a professional chef’s work environment with an intimate and inviting atmosphere. Poggenpohl has created for the purpose a contemporary kitchen design with fully custom made cabinetry and shelving to offer warmth and style, while providing innovative ways to maximize space. The striking kitchen design includes glare-free, matte backdrops to prevent distraction and convenient storage solutions to amplify organization and collaboration amongst students and chefs.

About The De Gustibus Cooking School
The De Gustibus Cooking School by Miele is located at 151 West 34th Street on the eighth floor of Macy's Herald Square. As New York City's longest running, recreational cooking school, De Gustibus has welcomed over 1,200 chefs, including some of the industry's most iconic, influential names from Julia Child and Jacques Pépin to Thomas Keller and Daniel Boulud, who are among those honored with portraits in the new front entry. Classes are held during the weekdays from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM and on Saturdays at varying times.
