The Tante Marie Culinary Academy is the UK's longest established independent cookery school offering a range of courses from University Survival Skills to a Cordon Bleu Diploma. The school has recently moved to state-of-the-art new premises in a smart glass fronted building on Woking high street and has been fully fitted out with Poggenpohl kitchens.
Poggenpohl supplied five teaching kitchens, the theatre kitchen and the kitchen for the onsite brasserie which serves lunch and dinner to the public seven days a week. Each kitchen is equipped with different appliances and cooking mediums to offer some of the widest ranging training available in the UK.
Tante Marie Managing Director Andrew Maxwell says he chose Poggenpohl because he needed high quality training kitchens that emulated a domestic situation and that could withstand the wear and tear of continuous use.
