Following the sell-out success of the summer event, back in June 2014, Poggenpohl hosted this February 23rd an evening cookery event at its Deansgate studio, Manchester showcasing the talents of the distinguished local chef Aiden Byrne.
Delicious canapés, wine and sparkling cocktails especially prepared by a mixologist provided by Zip taps filled the room while Poggenpohl Studio Manager Jon Andrews and Design Manager Gill Pritchard welcomed the over 90 to the amazingly attractive space where beautiful cutting edge bespoke kitchens set the perfect mood.
Around 7pm guests gathered round the Poggenpohl working kitchen to admire chef Aiden Byrne demonstrate the skills that have made him one of Manchester’s finest chefs. Using Gaggenau appliances he created a selection of signature dishes; sea bass and rabbit.
Jon Andrews said, “We are delighted to be hosting a second evening with Aiden. Poggenpohl is rightly proud to have a spacious showroom in the heart of Manchester and how better to celebrate our close connections in the town than with this innovative local chef showcasing what he does best in one of our contemporary kitchens.”
The sound of a chill out music selection played by an invited live Dj kept the evening in the best possible, relaxing mood.
