Last month, Poggenpohl studio Nar Fine Cabinetry received a 2015 NARI CotY Judge’s Choice Award and won first place for a Residential Kitchen $60,001 to $100,000. NARI CotY Award winners represent some of the finest projects showcasing the excellence in remodeling projects in the greater Sacramento region. Designer Oliver Aden of Nar Fine Cabinetry also won Second Place honors for Small Kitchen Design in the prestigious NKBA 2015 Design Competition for Northern California.
The award-winning contemporary kitchen featuring a horizontal lava teak front replaced a kitchen that was partially blocked off from the family room and did not have a functional workflow. Relocating both the refrigerator and the sink, and removing walls allowed creating a more open kitchen design with a lot of easy-to access storage solutions and an ample countertop space.
