In the field of decorative printing, Poggenpohl is supplementing its portfolio with the new, authentic decors in silver ash, smoked ash and oak heritage with synchropore embossing. These can be ordered with a horizontal or vertical grain direction as desired. The high quality decorative embossing is precisely matched in this case to the respective run of the grain of the decorative print.
New, high quality, innovative details such as the edge-mounted bow handle in the finishes anodised aluminium, anodised stainless steel-coloured and anodised black the mechanical opening system for flap door units in handleless kitchen planning schemes or the modern, lowerable socket elements for the worktop with an additional USB charger round off the 2017 Poggenpohl range.

The luxury kitchen manufacturer Poggenpohl is presenting new, elaborate planning details in its 2017 range for individual kitchen design, thereby meeting the needs of its discerning customers. Poggenpohl has a tradition of offering a high level of competence in the area of luxurious solid wood fronts. The solid wood veneers natural core ash, natural nut tree, oak honey brown, nut tree, terra pine and grey walnut are now optionally available in an exclusive bookmatched veneer finish, with a choice of horizontal or vertical direction. Panels and side panels are also included in the veneering process and allow perfect planning down to the last detail.
The range of the successful kitchen architecture P´7350 Design by Studio F. A. Porsche is being supplemented with the new 78 cm carcase height. Poggenpohl is also adding the shades sand and sand grey with a matt and a gloss lacquer finish to the exclusive colour scheme. The solid wood fronts terra pine and natural nut tree are additionally available in the veneer field, optionally in veneer finish. Poggenpohl is thus achieving a marked increase in the planning variants for the P´7350.
In addition to the selected "architect colours", 14 spectacular metallic shades among which diamond white, champagne gold, night blue and the dazzling petrol green.

With this innovative concept, Poggenpohl offers the utmost in individuality and consistently embraces the changing demands on the home environment. Flexibility and distinctiveness are becoming increasingly important; the individual functional areas created by +STAGE dissociate to form separate elements.
In developing +STAGE, Poggenpohl deliberately focuses on contemporary living, concentrating on all that is essential and valuable within home life. Activities formerly carried out in different areas are grouped together within a compact space of 120 cm wide, creating an elegant setting. The highly functional theme units are equipped with slide-in hinged doors, designated as ‘pocket doors’. +STAGE can be easily integrated into a tall unit line and thus blend harmoniously into both kitchen and living areas. Or it may also be visually accentuated as a stand-alone unit.
The functions of +STAGE can be individually defined and grouped together by means of specially developed equipment features. Poggenpohl offers the complete theme packages of "bar", "office", "breakfast", "wardrobe", "kitchen" and "tea" as a design basis.
"With the different themes, we illustrate how +STAGE can be set in scene, in the full knowledge that there are countless ideas and possibilities of fulfilling one's own unique personal requirements", explains Christiane Danielsmeyer, Poggenpohl's Marketing Director.
Four tall unit heights and the standard unit depth of 65.4 cm are available based on the Poggenpohl range. +STAGE can be ordered in all conventional front colours.

Last April, as part of Boston Design Week, Poggenpohl studio in Boston hosted a very entertaining cooking demonstration with Chef Kurt von Kahle. New England's leading kitchen appliance consultant. Guests in attendance were able to experience the amazing cuisine of Chef von Kahle, as he created outstanding culinary delights, while using the Gaggenau CX491 full surface induction cooktop and accompanying wall oven in Poggenpohl's new P'7350 Design by Studio F. A. Porsche Kitchen.
A very special evening event, in which guests could experience the design nuances and the finest craftsmanship combined with state-of-art technology of the amazing kitchen architecture by Poggenpohl and Studio F. A. Porsche.
German Design Award 2016, Focus Open 2015, Materialica Design + Technology Award 2015 – The innovative kitchen architecture P`7350 Design by Porsche Design Studio has now been honoured with three major design prizes almost simultaneously, thus continuing its remarkable success story.
The German Design Award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council. Based on a unique nomination procedure, only products that demonstrably excel by their creative quality are allowed to take part. Poggenpohl received the coveted German Design Award 2016 Special Mention in the Excellent Product Design category. The "Special Mention" title is awarded to works with a design that represents particularly accomplished solutions and details and therefore honours the major commitment of companies and designers.
As part of a ceremonial prize giving ceremony and exhibition opening in the MIK Museum - Information - Art in Ludwigsburg, Poggenpohl was honoured with the quality label Focus Open 2015 Special Mention for the design achievement of the P`7350 Design by Porsche Design Studio. "Focus Open" is the international, non-commercial design prize of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg. Companies and design agencies from all over the world submitted innovative product and concept solutions this year too. The "Focus Open" panel judged these in the different categories according to the criteria: design quality, functionality, innovative content, ergonomics, interface design, product typography, ecology, sustainability, value status, appearance, emotionality and brand conformity. Among all the submissions, a total of 64 prize-winners were designated.
The famous "Materialica Design + Technology Award" has been offered every year since 2002 to innovative products and materials that appeal by outstanding design and high technological competence. A panel of experts of the highest calibre judged this year's submissions in the categories of material, product, surface & technology and CO2 efficiency and nominated them for the Materialica Award 2015. On the occasion of the Materialica trade fair in Munich, the best product innovations have now been rewarded. Poggenpohl received the Materialica Silver Award 2015 for development of the P`7350 in the "Product" category, thereby demonstrating once again its innovative potential. The kitchen architecture P`7350 Design by Porsche Design Studio already received the PLUS X Award 2014, the prestigious design prizes the Red Dot Award 2015, Interior Innovation Award 2015 and the Good Design Award 2014 in addition to the German Stevie Award business prize 2015.

Poggenpohl has now been honoured with two major design awards at the same time: the Interior Innovation Award 2015 and the Good Design Award 2014.
After the premium kitchen manufacturer Poggenpohl had already won the world’s leading prize for innovation, the "Plus X Award", in the high quality, design and functionality categories with the additional quality label "Best product of the year 2014" for the innovative kitchen architecture P`7350 Design by Porsche Design Studio, the Herford company has now been honoured with two major design awards at the same time: the "Interior Innovation Award 2015“ and the "Good Design Award 2014".
The prestigious Design Council has been offering the "Interior Innovation Award" every year since 2002. This award rewards first-rate performances in innovation in the interior design sector and is considered one of the most esteemed design prizes in the world.
The "Good Design Award" has already been awarded annually by the Chicago Athenaeum since 1950 and is thereby the oldest, internationally renowned accolade for excellent design. For the current competition, the museum received several thousand submissions from leading manufacturers all over the world and design studios from 48 countries. The expert panel of the Chicago Athenaeum honoured the P`7350 with the "Good Design Award 2014" in the category "kitchen and appliances".
