Supporter of the noblest causes all over the world, Poggenpohl has most recently sponsored the 1st FortunA Golf Cup UNICEF, for the benefit of a better world for children. It was the first golf tournament in South America with the participation of UNICEF.
Last June, 7 Fazenda da Grama - located in Itupeva, São Paulo in Brazil - was stage to the first FortunA Golf Cup UNICEF for the benefit of a better world for children. This was the first golf tournament in South America with the participation of UNICEF. 76 selected golfers filled the green fields of this magnificent luxury space to support the cause promoted by UNICEF together with FortunA - Luxury Communication Management company, who was the producer of the tournament.
The gathering of funds was about 56 thousand reais, obtained in several auctions that took place during the event. "Events such as this provide visibility to UNICEF and the collection of funds is crucial to the development of our work," said the American Gary Stahl, UNICEF representative in Brazil.
The distinguished audience could also follow the tourney in the comfort lounge signed by Missoni Home, on the Club House terrace, overlooking the grassy fields. Here they could taste the sweet treats of the much appreciated Dulca to the music of top DJ Lara Gerin. During the day, guests and participants could also appreciate a magic show by Ricardo Madureira, considered in Brazil as the best magician. At guests’ disposal was also a great golf clinic for all to experience the sport and the incredible Fazenda.
Several luxury brands sponsored this event, including Bombardier, Global Aviation and Rolls-Royce with its impressive Ghost model for guests and participants to feel and experience.
Supporting this amazing event, sponsoring one of the holes, was also Poggenpohl, the world wide well known luxury kitchen brand, which has entered the Brazilian market slightly one year ago, opening a fantastic showroom in Avenida Europa, São Paulo. Supporter of the noblest causes all over the world, Poggenpohl also contributed with a logo embroidered on the sleeve of the golfers’ shirts and even donated - in partnership with Lambda, a luxury golf shoe manufacturer - a pair of golf shoes for the auction in benefit of UNICEF.

Poggenpohl partnered with Hearst Publishing and their Designer Visions Showhouse at 250, West Street, El Ad Group’s luxury residential property in Tribeca, in New York City.
Three Heart magazines paired up with renowned designers - Matthew Patrick Smyth for Elle Décor Antony Todd for Veranda and David Rockwell for House Beautiful – to transform three apartments into contemporary havens of pure home beauty that reflect each magazine’s unique style. Poggenpohl partnered with Hearst Publishing and featured all three apartments, proving once again its undeniable capacity of creating custom built solutions to fit every customer’s needs.
While at the House Beautiful apartment Poggenpohl cabinetry was in Teak Quartz Melamine, in Veranda’s one could appreciate a true beauty in Terra Mate Melamine.
For the Elle Decor apartment the gorgeous shades of the Sand Pine fronts interlaced with the Pine Terra Melamine Texture. All kitchen cabinetry was combined with Silestone quartz countertops, Ann Sacks tiles and Jenn-Air appliances.

Gracing the grand opening was the renowned Chef Horatio Rivadero from the District of Miami who joined at this event to delight the palate of the many guests with his magnificent combinations of pan Latin, Spanish and Caribbean flavors. In May 2012 a unique event in an atmosphere of charm has provided some special moments in a night full of glamour. "Experience of story - design - innovation" gathered at Villa Agostinelli the best brands and their latest news for 2012, along with the most famous Italian elite guests.
The beautiful palatial house dating from the beginning of the 17th century, located in the small town of Marsan, in Northern Italy, (between Bassano del Grappa and Marostica) belongs to the family Lisciotto. The taste for beauty cultivated over his many years is clear throughout the 200 sq meter boutique, where fabulous antique furniture dating from the 16th century lives in full harmony in the atmosphere of magnificent contemporary and purist Poggenpohl kitchens. Integrated modern technology systems from Bang & Olufsen enhance all the refinement, the quality and the good taste that characterises this wonderful setting.
This event developed in collaboration with Porsche Design Group, Sub-Zero, Bang & Olufsen and Porsche Centre Vicenza aimed to present the novelties for this year.
Outside, integrated into the beautiful garden, the new Porsche 911 among other well-known models welcomed all guests. Inside Villa Agostinelli, while enjoying a delicious cocktail, one could perceive, feel and live Poggenpohl's latest news, including the new Poggenpohl Porsche Design P'7340 in carbon-glass.

Just like your favourite sports car, the human body needs to be refuelled with premium ingredients to perform at maximum efficiency - a fitness philosophy Porsche calls “Healthy Intelligent Performance.”
The presentation and cooking demonstration took place in the Poggenpohl Porsche Design P'7340 Kitchen that sports some of the same features as the car, such as the aluminium titanium materials, smart engineering and colour selection.The Miele appliances in the P'7340 kitchen also took centre stage during the chef's lively demonstration.
Porsche race car driver Patrick Long shared how he keeps his body at peak performance for the rigors of race day. On average, a race car driver can lose 5 to 10 pounds during a race, making diet an important part of the training process. Chef Sosa and Patrick Long offered the crowd the inside line on how to fuel up for optimum performance – along with exclusive recipes, nutritional tips and fitness recommendations.
Chef Sosa, owner and executive chef of NY's Social Eatz restaurant, prepared courses meant to fuel a race car driver's diet crafted with fresh foods hand-picked that morning by Patrick Long and Chef Sosa at a local farmer's market.
The large crowd of lifestyle media who represent design influencers, food enthusiasts and tastemakers also had a chance to experience two 2011 Porsche Cayenne S Hybrids, parked right outside the Poggenpohl showroom. As Porsche's first production hybrid vehicle, the Cayenne Hybrid is a true testament to Porsche Intelligent Performance design philosophy, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.1 seconds.
