A few days ago, a summer gin tasting at the Poggenpohl studio in Wigmore Street, London brought together a smattering of guests, who had the chance to taste an impressive selection of gins including the new Summer Cup by the hands of the local London Gin distillery Sipsmith. “It was a fun and informative evening” inspired by the kitchen set orchestrated to provide the most exquisite ambiance. Hors d'oeuvres were freshly prepared on site in a functional Poggenpohl kitchen by the Noble House Events.

Last June 28, Poggenpohl studio in Dallas hosted an evening event in favor of D Home Magazine to preview its July/August issue featuring the winner of the Texas Paint & Wallpaper as well as the ‘Benjamin Moore Paint’s Life in Color’ competition.
The Poggenpohl’s sophisticated and contemporary ambiance created an elegant backdrop for guests to get a first glimpse of the summer-inspired issue. Throughout the evening, Chef Justo of Bolsa Mercado prepared a special assortment of delightful hors d'oeuvres accompanied by an exquisite selection of beverages.

This June, July and August Poggenpohl was sponsor to the 2016 Summer Chef Series – a three-part series hosted by a different local chef at each event in the glamorous, sophisticated ambiance of the Poggenpohl studio in Dallas. The culinary experts prepared in a functional Poggenpohl kitchen their interpretations of an elegant summer dish – colourful, delicious epicurean delicacies.
The series commenced on June 9th, hosted by Chef Justo Blanco representing the Bolsa Mercado and the reinvention of classic American cuisine. Last July, St Albans studio went under a metamorphoses and transformed into a fashion emporium showcasing the latest and glamorous work wear trends from local clothes boutiques.The event was organised in collaboration with St Albans Fashion Week and SAFW retailers included Hobbs, LK Bennett and D. Copperfield.
The St. Albans Fashion week partnered with the St Albans Chamber of Commerce Business Festival and hosted this fabulous styling event composed of cat walk shows, hair and beauty salons, expert styling, live demos and cocktails provided by Zip’s mixologist.
Over 70 guests including Poggenpohl customers and members of the local Chamber of Commerce enjoyed the evening in a unique setting surrounded by Poggenpohl kitchens which also had a chance to be appreciated. To enrich the evening, signature cocktails and canapés were prepared live and appreciated by all.

In May, Poggenpohl Atlanta revealed to be a superb venue, as a world of innovative ideas and inspiration awaited 40 designers to attend two educational workshops organized by Houzz University - an interactive hands-on convention initiated by the Houzz experts to assist users in taking their professional profile to the next level.
By the end of this enriching day, all left confident and highly motivated, with the ideal Houzz profile and a handful of inspiring ideas for creating the ideal kitchen space. Just as the designers supplemented their knowledge and methods, so did they recognize that creating a Poggenpohl kitchen is a very individual process, focused on creating the ideal solution for each client.

Hundreds of designers and architects took the chance to visit the Poggenpohl studio and feel the glamour of the newly installed kitchens, while enjoying a delicious signature drink, especially prepared for the occasion - the “Poggenpohl Pom”.

The setting was flawless and amazingly delicious, where all present had a memorable time composed by an enjoyable afternoon of tea and chocolate tastings, while celebrating the passion for chocolate and Her Majesty’s anniversary.
The Poggenpohl studio was beautifully and delicately decorated with dramatic flower arrangements in the Queen’s favourite colours of mauve and purple, created by top florist John Carter. Master Chocolatier Iain Burnett unveiled his delicious creation, the chocolate-bacon-maple-bar, a curious and much awaited flavour of this year. Iain was also responsible for the Velvet Truffle, created to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday and who so kindly shared the sweet delicacy at Poggenpohl, much craved by all present.
The exciting challenge encouraged as always, entrants to reimagine chocolate flavour combinations, in a non-conformist way - a philosophy that Poggenpohl has championed throughout each of its 125 years of innovation - which led to very interesting results that all had opportunity to taste and judge.

Last March, Poggenpohl celebrated the opening of its most recent and distinctive studio in Dubai, proudly showing its inspirational kitchens during a very successful evening event, in partnership with renowned brands such Electrolux, DEKTON by Consentino, Bloomingdales and FIMES.
Throughout the evening, around 100 distinguished guests could enjoy delightful hors d'oeuvres kindly prepared by Electrolux professional chef Nisrine Nakhoul accompanied by a fine selection of beverages, while discovering the new, full-sized studio which showcases, in a very elegant and unique setting, a portrayal of Poggenpohl's philosophy on how the kitchen can be the centre of the home, highlighting not only the design of kitchens, but also the creation of a space for living and enjoying life.
Its decor of wood, lacquers, leathers, amazing weaves and innovative mélanges, excites the senses... The range of kitchens shows the brand's sleek lines, iconic craftsmanship, pure aesthetics, sustainability and durability. Last April was marked by another edition of the unmissable "Fish in Lisbon, 2016." - "Lisbon fish and flavours 2016" where a Poggenpohl kitchen in earth tones and beige was the stage for the creation of the most authentic and outstanding fish and seafood gastronomic delicacies.
The event took place as usual in the imposing Terreiro do Paço, facing the Tagus river and counted with the distinguished attendance of some of the most highly regarded Portuguese and foreign chefs.
The 11-day program proved to be rich in presentations in the Poggenpohl kitchen, with cooking shows and top chefs sharing their experiences with an always crowded audience, who filmed and photographed the scenario immersed in marine flavours and aromas.
14 chefs Elena Arzak (3 Michelin Stars), Pino Cuttaia (2 Michelin Stars), Diego Gallegos (1 Michelin Star), Tiago Feio, Alexandre Silva, Rui Silvestre, Nuno Mendes, Tomoaki Kanazawa and Henrique Sá Pessoa had the opportunity to feel the sophisticated ambiance of a Poggenpohl kitchen and make use of its functionality as a cooking, kitchen, living and entertaining space. The kitchen also served as setting for theme debates where chefs have discussed about their work experience in the kitchen, as a chef, their leading dishes, among many other.
The 9th edition of "Peixe em Lisboa" also comprised famous restaurants with fish and seafood tasting menus, a gourmet market with a wide selection of wines and almost 500 products to taste and buy.
The Poggenpohl kitchen proved to be versatile and efficient as it also hosted parallel events such as the famous tasting competitions “Best Portuguese Custard Tarts", "Horse Mackerel", "Young Talents of Gastronomy" and "Bread, dough and horse mackerel savoury".
