Poggenpohl Studio in Georgetown presented its new P`7350 Design by Porsche Design Studio to around 60 selected attendees at an “Inside Look” event sponsored by Home & Design Magazine. A very pleasant evening event… and the presentation of the new P’7350 was a tremendous success. Among many uplifting adjectives in regards to the layout of the kitchen and the balanced choice of materials and colours, some have not spare praise to how the horizontal and vertical lines meet in this kitchen and thus create an unmistakable creative tension that is a pleasure to the eye.
During the event, the Home & Design Magazine revealed its newly published September/October issue and featured an ‘Inside Look’ of the work that Home & Design Magazine’s artisans, designers and architects created.

Last September 3rd, Poggenpohl in London was stage to one of the most delicious gastronomic events in the UK. The perfect scenery - in between the appealing clean lined kitchens, outstanding for its design as well as for its functionality and comfort – has led to a universe where taste is revealed in its many delicious nuances.
The event had the participation and support of renowned brands such as British Airways, Pure Granada, House & Garden, among many other including Poggenpohl. Through an enhanced selection of spiced chocolates from 100 hopeful entries, the judging panel, headed by Joanna Simon, wine & food editor at House & Garden magazine and will include members of the public alongside food journalists and industry insiders., has selected the very best of the best. Renowned chocolatier Paul A Young, who was a judge on last year's challenge, has created an official GBSCC 'sugar & spice' bar. A donation of £2 from each bar will go directly to The Trussell Trust, the challenge's charity for the second year running, and operators of the National Food Bank Service.
The event also featured a live show by The Spice Boys band, on a specially constructed stage among the beautiful Poggenpohl kitchens.
The evening ended with an after party for press and guests in the remarkable Fourth Wall kitchen by Poggenpohl and Electrolux Grand Cuisine with delightful nibbles provided by The Fine Cheese Company and Artisan Biscuits.

Another amazing edition of DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) Picnic by Design took place in August at the Ramscale Studios, commemorating its four-year anniversary. The fundraising event, which celebrates great design and engages emerging and young designers to support DIFFA’s work in the fight against HIV/AIDS, was once again sponsored by renowned brands, among which Poggenpohl – supporter of the noblest causes worldwide – who did not miss the opportunity to participate and pay homage to the incredible work that has been developed by this institution.
Guests sampled gourmet picnic fare from fabulous restaurants at tables stationed throughout the venue, enjoyed a delicious selection of cocktails and beverage, and had the opportunity to bid on show-stopping picnic baskets conceived by top designers - All for a good cause. Notable judges in the design and culinary industry voted for their favorite creations, which will be highlighted on the Interior Design magazine’s website.

Over 100 professional and amateur chocolatiers are set to compete against each other to create a new spiced chocolate with the results announced during National Chocolate Week in October. The judging panel is headed by Joanna Simon, wine and food editor for House & Garden, and the winner of this exquisite challenge will be awarded with a voyage to the spice island Granada.
The Tante Marie Culinary Academy, UK’s longest established independent cookery school has been fully fitted out with Poggenpohl kitchens. “High quality training kitchens that emulate a domestic situation and that withstand the wear and tear of continuous use.”
The Tante Marie Culinary Academy is the UK's longest established independent cookery school offering a range of courses from University Survival Skills to a Cordon Bleu Diploma. The school has recently moved to state-of-the-art new premises in a smart glass fronted building on Woking high street and has been fully fitted out with Poggenpohl kitchens.
Poggenpohl supplied five teaching kitchens, the theatre kitchen and the kitchen for the onsite brasserie which serves lunch and dinner to the public seven days a week. Each kitchen is equipped with different appliances and cooking mediums to offer some of the widest ranging training available in the UK.

The GACC offered this program as part of an entrepreneur networking event including a select group of investors and tech companies.

The Berlin start-up HelloFresh is setting new standards in food e-commerce: Since its founding in December 2011, HelloFresh has succeeded in establishing the new category of cooking boxes on the foodstuff market. The concept was developed by founders Jessica Nilsson, Thomas Griesel and Dominik Richter in Berlin, and within the shortest time unfolded internationally. Partnerships with experienced venture capital donors, and smart money in the amount of 150 million Euro fuelled the start-up’s fast growth. The USA is currently the most important market, and with that, the largest driver of growth.

Last, June 16 Poggenpohl unveiled its new P`7350 Kitchen by Porsche Design Studio at the Merchandise Mart, in Chicago. The most distinguished guests were invited to discover or rediscover the amazing universe of the new P’7350 by Porsche Design Studio - pioneering kitchen architecture that challenges and reinterprets the horizontal lines of conventional kitchens to strongly emphasise the vertical lines.
After a private concert from two violoncellists, the soirée wound up with an after party in the cozy, sophisticated Poggenpohl setting.
The innovative kitchen architecture has been featured during the “Room with a Vroom” event sponsored by Poggenpohl.
