Poggenpohl has re-designed its Birmingham studio situated in the prestigious Fort Dunlop interior design destination in the heart of Birmingham.

To celebrate this gorgeous revamp the showroom will host a charity event with a celebrity chef cooking on Miele appliances and a mixologist making cocktails using the Zip filtered, boiling and sparkling water tap.
The charity event to launch the re-designed studio on Thursday 27th March was a huge success, with a celebrity chef cooking on new Miele appliances and a Cocktail ‘mixologist’ working from the ZIP filtered, boiling and sparkling water tap.
While listening to a classical band, guests could also delight canapés and a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks. And there was also a raffle to win a Miele coffee machine and Porsche Design knives with all proceeds going to 'The John Taylor Hospice', a local charity for terminally ill adults.
On the 10th of January, Poggenpohl introduced the Radebeul's market to its custom made, built to last kitchen concepts that have garnered mass appeal and recognition worldwide.

This new Poggenpohl Studio showcases featured kitchens from different Poggenpohl collections, each highlighting different elements of the German brand’s distinctive design characteristics and innovations. The minimalist handle-free +SEGMENTO kitchen exuding the brand’s refined, elegant and distinctive style and the award-winning +MODO, endlessly appealing with its open and closed spaces are the main focus in this open space of 130 sq. meters. The warm luxurious materials and natural light from the outside add a spectacular effect to the whole ambiance.

On Thursday 21st November, Sheen Kitchen Design
re-opened their studio for a launch event on the Upper Richmond Road, with a total re-fit and the new inclusion of Poggenpohl furniture.
Poggenpohl last week treated more than 50 guests to a Nigel Smith cooking demonstration as part of a launch event to celebrate three new displays being fitted in Upper Richmond Road showroom, Sheen Kitchen Design.
Eight dishes – including soufflé, a steak dish and a chocolate fondant – during the two-hour demonstration, as Sheen Kitchen Design showed off Poggenpohl's new, impressive Poggenpohl displays in the Sheen Kitchen Design studio, +SEGMENTO, +ARTESIO and +MODO.
Presented in modern colours that are from the top sellers list from Poggenpohl, including Sand Grey in the new Matt Lacquer finish, FG Terra Pine, Pebble Grey in High Gloss Lacquer and Matt Black lacquer with FN Natural Nut Tree. The displays combine kitchen areas and also a television area, showing the flexibility of the Poggenpohl furniture.
As well as enjoying Smith's cooking, guests were given the opportunity to partake in some wine tasting courtesy of local merchant, Sura, while one guest – local designer Greg Coulson – took home a Bosch 'Bean to Cup' coffee machine after winning a prize draw.
A new page in the story of Poggenpohl has been written. In collaboration with Productos Arquitetónicos, Poggenpohl has opened a Studio in in Bogota. It is Poggenpohl's 24th Studio in South America.
This May, was marked by the opening of the new Poggenpohl showroom in Bogota, Colombia.
Productos Arquitetónicos, the company that represents Poggenpohl in Bogota, planed and prepared this big opening event which lasted for about two weeks. The aim was to have personalized events in order to get closer to guests giving them the opportunity to focus on the three displayed Poggenpohl kitchen concepts: +ARTESIO, +SEGMENTO and +MODO.
For about two weeks, this new showroom received more than 100 people that could experience the Poggenpohl atmosphere. The most discerning customers, architects, designers and construction industry experts could enjoy early breakfasts, special lunches and nice cocktails in the evening prepared by the well-known Colombian Chef, Cristina Carrillo while getting to know, feel and live the fantastic world of Poggenpohl, its kitchens as well as and their appeal of perfectionist detail and enduring craftsmanship.

In a nostalgic area of Tehran, an ancient, progressive brick family house is now home to the new Poggenpohl showroom.
Poggenpohl’s reentrance into the Iranian market was marked by a very successful grand opening party on August, 14 2013 to which attended the most distinguished guests; leading architects, interior designers, big industry players and promoters. Once again, for the fifth consecutive year, Poggenpohl organized a very successful and delicious networking lunch in its exclusive Kitchen Design Studio in Zurich. More than 100 personalities from the property development industry, among which many general contractors, architects and investors, attended this amazing event, which had the special participation of the research specialist Patrick Schnorf Wüest & Partner AG Zurich, who hosted an explosive lecture on the Real Estate Market in Switzerland. The industry expert presented the latest findings, facts and trends, and answered the many questions from the audience.

An elegantly written and richly illustrated six-page article, entirely dedicated to the centennial history of Poggenpohl
Past February, 28 was presented at the Foreign Ministry in Berlin the latest book by the renowned author Dr. Florian Langenscheidt, Handgemacht - Die schönsten Manufakturen Deutschlands (Handmade - Germany's Most Beautiful Workshops, developed in cooperation with the Manufakturen Deutsche (German Workshops) initiative). A very interesting book that aims to present to the public the 76 German brands that still make their products 'by hand'. All these companies are part of the foundation and guiding principle of the history of German skilled craftsmanship and the German economy.
“This book presents selected companies that represent the current situation of Germany's specialized industries. The book's opulent materials and design reflect the care, attention to detail, and individuality of these specialized companies' products." - explains Langenscheidt.
