"Space is a luxury in New York," says Mikhael, to Home Design Magazine. "Having an excess of it and being able to have vistas in every direction is an even greater luxury."
The final product is certainly a luxurious escape from hectic city life. Inspired by natural earthy features, Mikhael incorporated muted tones, raw materials, and minimalistic touches throughout the space. Poggenpohl's millwork and cabinetry in Teak Quartz and Teak Lava provide an extra touch of peace and serenity.
The kitchen is simple and sleek in subdued colors as well, so it lets the Manhattan views do the talking. Storage space is abundant so it doesn't disturb the minimalist aesthetic.
