Poggenpohl’s Midtown Design Studio broadened this once cramped Larchmont, New York kitchen, while breathing life into a newly constructed multi-use art studio for the owner’s budding career in photography. The design team evoked an air of spaciousness in the kitchen by limiting wall cabinets and by using a White Glass finish to give the visual illusion of disappearance. In the interest of inspiring creativity in the art studio, cabinetry was stretched across the entire space with a floating look. “The spaces were developed using many contrasting materials and details which ultimately formed a perfect space to be used professionally and leisurely,” says Luiza Bajkowska designer Poggenpohl Midtown.
