In November, architects and designers were invited to Poggenpohl’s New York Midtown studio for a unique wine themed soirée. An evening organised by the Architects & Designers Building in partnership with the Sommelier Society of America during which great wines from around the world were the central highlight. Guests learned from New York’s best sommeliers that spoke at each different studio throughout the building with hors d’oeuvres paired specifically for the wines.
Poggenpohl hosted sommelier, Daniel Bjugdstad of Pasquale Jones who served La Caravelle’s Cuvée Niña - an elegant, yet approachable Champagne accompanied by fresh strawberries topped with crème fraiche and delightful smoked salmon crostini.
A gastronomic fervour full of sweeping culinary tastes… An evening of reviving flavours while awakening one’s five senses and subsequently living unforgettable dining experiences such as any home with a Poggenpohl kitchen provides.
