Poggenpohl has not only been building first-class kitchens for 125 years. From the beginning the company has been a part of people’s life.
So it is only logical to orient the brand and communication even stronger to people. At the Herford production site and for the trade fair in Milan Poggenpohl will surprise international dealers and journalists with the trendsetting product +VENOVO, a dynamic image film, an emotional website and a subtle, fine brand book. All this will be presented in the newly equipped showrooms in Herford and Milan.
“Every person is different, every person is the same” is one of the phrases in the new brand book from Poggenpohl. The images show people, not models: on streets, in museums and cafés, hiking among dunes or at home in different locations of this world. “Every person is on the move, and every person is standing still” – and everyone does it in their own way.
Openness for people and their different concepts of living is what Poggenpohl clearly and skilfully demonstrates with the series of images. The image film continues the theme and tells about the multifaceted life of people in a globalised world. One feels the city beats and the tranquillity in nature. They recognise themselves and sense: the outdoors needs the indoors. For this film the Poggenpohl team set out on a journey to the people in this world to even better understand their needs in terms of diversity and depth.
The consequence for Poggenpohl: today a kitchen is simply what a kitchen should provide for people. Workshop or professional workplace, adventure area or part-time office, separated or as the heart of the dwelling – because a kitchen makes the retreat into the self just as possible as the encounter with family or friends. Sometimes it is dominant and noble, while at times it retreats and integrates quietly into the events of living. Poggenpohl creates the option space for this purpose – on a very individual basis and on the highest level.
The new website presence also leads customers into this open, diverse world of Poggenpohl and signalises: be who you are, we will build the kitchen for this. Images and texts which came into being in recent months – static and moving, online and offline – now add up to a new, coherent brand image. This current interpretation of Poggenpohl’s core values shows the agility of a medium-sized enterprise for which convenience is no option.
