The sophistication of collaboration
Poggenpohl and Porsche Design are resuming their successful collaboration with a new design concept. This will be presented in April 2020 in Milan as part of EuroCucina. At Küchenmeile, the primary focus is on the P´7350 with product updates and new design variations.
Herford, 14 September 2019.
Two partners, two kitchens. A successful collaboration: In the iconic P´7340 (2007) and P´7350 (2014) kitchens, Porsche Design and Poggenpohl created two impressive design classics. They perfectly demonstrate the successful combination of creative rigour, technical innovation and precise engineering. The modular aluminium frame for the iconic P´7340 and the unique industrial bevel working technology of the front and body of the P´7350 are expressions of these attributes. Both kitchens received multiple international design awards.
Poggenpohl is presenting the P´7350 in contemporary, open design at Küchenmeile 2019 to once again prove the topicality of this concept. The fronts in diamond grey, the slender, 12 mm worktops in deep, dark ceramic. The vertical lines create a symmetrical order.
Kitchen planners and designers at Poggenpohl stores throughout the world have already been called upon to reinterpret this concept under the title “Rethink and Create New Plans for P’7350 by Porsche Design”. The three best designs are being presented at Küchenmeile 2019, the winning kitchen will be showcased as part of EuroCucina at the flagship store in Milan. Poggenpohl Managing Director Gernot Mang is certain: “With the contemporary and modern design of the P´7350, we’re giving this exclusive concept a new nowness.”
Furthermore, Poggenpohl and Porsche Design will present a completely new product as part of EuroCucina in April 2020. “The extraordinary design style of both companies will once again be recognizable in this kitchen,” said Gernot Mang. “As usual, the concept is tailored to a large room, but can also be used for smaller, urban design variations.”
