Herford, 25 augustus 2020 De toekomst van het oudste keukenmerk ter wereld is veiliggesteld: de overname door de strategische investeerder Jomoo Germany, dochter van de Chinese Jomoo Group is afgerond volgens schema. Aan alle contractuele voorwaarden is voldaan, zodat de officiële transactie op 1 september 2020 kan plaatsvinden.
Poggenpohl Möbelwerke: overeenkomst getekend met strategische investeerder Jomoo Group
Nieuwe eigenaar voor het oudste keukenmerk ter wereld: de strategische investeerder Jomoo Germany, dochter van de Chinese Jomoo Group, neemt het in Noordrijn-Westfalen gevestigde Poggenpohl Möbelwerke over. Zoals al eerder werd gedeeld, liepen de onderhandelingen met een andere investeerder op niets uit. De overeenkomst met Jomoo betreffende de overname is op 10 juli 2020 officieel gemaakt; besloten is de overeengekomen prijs niet bekend te maken. Tot de overeenkomst ingaat, nadat naar verwachting in de komende weken aan een aantal openstaande voorwaarden wordt voldaan, voert curator Manuel Sack het beheer over Poggenpohl voor de koper.
