True Beauty Down to the Last Detail

Good design is created when every single element is considered with clarity, care, and consistency—from the overall concept down to the smallest components.

It is the details that differentiate outstanding products from the standard. Characterised by exceptional workmanship, high-quality materials, and innovative functionality. Each individual element tells a story that’s the bearer of brand identity. Details are therefore of central importance, as they shape the value of a brand, create recognition and generate desire.

With the motto ‘True beauty down to the last detail’, Poggenpohl is highlighting the importance of high-quality workmanship and material aesthetics at this year's in-house exhibition.

As pioneers and trailblazers, Poggenpohl breaks with convention in order to perfect what already exists and discover new things; always in balance with contemporary aesthetics. We are constantly searching for innovative and perfectly implemented solutions that enrich people's lives emotionally. It is the subtle signals, the subtlety of the details that are inconspicuous yet characteristic of a premium brand. For Poggenpohl, they are therefore the true benchmark for high-quality product design.

These details can be experienced in the kitchen designs on display at this year's in-house exhibition.

The +MODO design concept is a forward-looking example of the perfection and further development of existing products. Following last year's presentation featuring new, exclusive design elements such as mitred shelves, this year the concept is being presented in a new, sensual world of colours and materials. The spacious environment in elegant walnut veneer gives the kitchen the opulent, elegant aesthetics of sophisticated living spaces. New technical refinements allow areas within the environment to be concealed or opened up. They integrate unpretentiously into the open living space, are invisible and contain functional elements and storage space in the background.

The ALVOLO concept, presented in 2024, represents another highlight. The sculptural appearance of the kitchen is complemented by another element this year. The fronts, which have a graphic effect thanks to their sloping surfaces, contain an invisible light source in the integrated handle strip. This can be adjusted in terms of brightness and light colour, enhancing the existing play of light and shadow. What's more, the new function gives the kitchen itself an atmospheric effect, like a light sculpture in its own right.

“Good design touches people not only through its function and aesthetics, but also through its attention to detail,“ is Poggenpohl's ethos. The company proves that true beauty lies in the consistent implementation of design solutions that go beyond the visible. A visit to the showroom is therefore worthwhile not only for viewing the elegant overall compositions, but especially for discovering the small, often inconspicuous details.
