Poggenpohl Chicago - P´7350 Design by Porsche Design Studio Launch June 16, 2015

Poggenpohl Chicago launches P`7350 Design by Porsche Design Studio

The premium kitchen manufacturer, Poggenpohl will unveil its new P'7350 Design by Porsche Design Studio Kitchen on June 16, 2015 at the Merchandise Mart, Chicago. The innovative kitchen architecture will be featured during the "Room with a Vroom" event sponsored by Poggenpohl, Cosentino and Stone Masters. Special guest, author Stacey Ballis will be on hand to help give away an exclusive Launch Dinner Celebration at the Ballis Urban Castle.

The P'7350 Design by Porsche Design Studio departs from the horizontal lines of conventional kitchens in a completely new interpretation. This effect is made possible by the technology of industrial mitering of the cabinet front and body. The front merges with the cabinet body in the miter to form an exquisitely engineered, vertical line. The mitered cut of the cabinet body is additionally covered with a stainless steel-effect aluminum profile, to further enhance the combination of engineering excellence and innovative design. Poggenpohl is the first kitchen manufacturer to be able to produce this elaborate finish with the aid of leading edge, extremely high-precision manufacturing techniques - engineered, not just simply designed!

The second unmistakable stylistic component of the P'7350 is the blades: solid, vertical design trims made of stainless steel-effect brushed aluminum. They bring variety to the delicately shaped front surfaces, strongly emphasize the vertical lines and can be placed in all functional areas of the kitchen. Experimenting with the contrast between the solid blades and the delicate lines of the front takes full advantage of the possibilities of the P'7350.

The kitchen architecture P'7350 Design by Porsche Design Studio, has already received the PLUS X Award 2014 innovation prize in addition to the prestigious design prizes the Red Dot Award 2015, Interior Innovation Award 2015, Architizer A+ Award and the Good Design Award 2015 in addition to the German Stevie Award 2015 business prize.
