On November 8, 2017 from 6-9pm architects and designers came to taste, tour, and learn! The Architects & Designers Building, in partnership with the Sommelier Society of America, highlighted great wines from around the world. Guests learned from New York’s best sommeliers that spoke to each showroom with food paired specifically for the wines. Poggenpohl hosted sommelier, Daniel Bjugdstad of Pasquale Jones who served La Caravelle’s Cuvée Niña - an elegant yet approachable Champagne to celebrate Poggenpohl’s 125th anniversary. On October 24th, 6 to 9 pm Poggenpohl Midtown New York, The Architects & Designers Building and New York Spaces presented The Art of Living event. Over 100 designers and architects attended this unique evening of art, design, culinary experiences, delicious cocktails, entertainment and more! Participating showrooms in the Architects & Designers Building included: Fisher & Paykel, Ornare, Paris Ceramics, J Geiger, Cosentino, Scavolini, Lefroy Brooks, Sub-Zero & Wolf, Thermador, Ferguson, Studium, Carlisle, and Lisone Giordano. On November 3rd, Poggenpohl Midtown hosted the Taste of T, New York’s premier food and design event. This year Taste of T – presented by The New York Times Style Magazine and the A&D Building – featured elemental ingredients and experiences that unify nourishment and cuisine across the globe, breaking them down, and examining how this informs the future of food.
Poggenpohl Midtown offered guests Thai-inspired ice cream rolls from 10 Below. 10 Below hand rolled delicious ice cream with fresh ingredients. This concept was created on the streets of Thailand, serving fresh, made-to-order ice cream. Poggenpohl Midtown celebrated the launch of their P'7350 Design by Studio F. A. Porsche display on March 24, 2016. The event was sponsored by New York Spaces magazine. Editorial Director of New York Spaces, Jason Kontos, welcomed guests. DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) Picnic by Design is serving up several new treats for its four-year anniversary. The fundraising event, which celebrates great design and engages emerging and young designers to support DIFFA’s work in the fight against HIV/AIDS, took place at Ramscale Studios on Wednesday, August 5th from 6:00-9:00PM.
Guests sampled gourmet picnic fare from fabulous restaurants at tables stationed throughout the venue, enjoyed a delicious selection of cocktails and wine, and had the opportunity to bid on show-stopping picnic baskets conceived by top designers--all for a good cause. Notable judges in the design and culinary industry voted for their favorite creations, which will be highlighted on Interior Design magazine’s website.

On the 6th of November, Poggenpohl's Midtown New York showroom was host to Chef Raphael Francois of Le Cirque as part of New York's premier Food & Design Taste of T event, sponsored by the New York Times Style Magazine.
The event, which was held in the Architects & Designers Building, featured cuisine from over 25 renowned chefs presented in 28 of the building's showrooms.
