Poggenpohl Hampstead

Essential Storage

Generous storage was an essential for this client, a key part of the design process was planning exactly what would go into each drawer and cabinet, concealed pocket doors were used to hide away small appliances. Poggenpohl Hampstead worked very closely with the clients build team to ensure that the skeletal work allowed the kitchen to fit to the exact dimensions, meaning every millimetre of space could be used.
The warm colour pallet from the satin bronze mirror finish compliments the pebble grey cabinetry perfectly, the rest of the kitchen details were inspired from this. The kitchen was completed with the addition of hard-wearing porcelain countertops in a metal finish.

The client was so pleased with their kitchen that they commissioned Poggenpohl Hampstead to design and fit a bespoke wine cabinet in their game's basement. This was designed using the +STAGE pocket door system fitted between a full height wine cooler and additional larder storage. The selected furniture pallet was darker to complement the room décor, using Diamond Grey."

Champagne Aluminium

Our client wanted a dark and stylish open plan kitchen that seamlessly melded itself with the rest of the furniture and décor throughout the property. We used Champagne Aluminium and Black Noir furniture to create an elegant space for entertaining and cooking.

The furniture colour scheme is complimented with Caesarstone Vanilla Noir worktops, Tom Dixon Beat Lighting and Gaggenau and Bora appliances

Excellent service in realisation of a stylish kitchen

This stylish kitchen from Poggenpohl Hampstead uses Polar white and Teak Lava cabinetry, Neolith Iron Grey Worktops and custom made Poggenpohl panelling and shelving.

Great service from Poggenpohl Hampstead. They have a superb range to choose from and there was never any doubt in my mind that I would choose something other than a Poggenpohl kitchen. Excellent service from Matthew, James and Ian who have always answered any questions I might have and who managed to achieve a bespoke unit for us to accommodate my need for a walk in larder – Lucy

Bold Blue

This client was very keen to use Poggenpohl for their project however required a specific blue colour for their island which they had determined from an NCS colour chart. Poggenpohl created a match using hand lacquered special manufactured doors. The deep blue was paired with our in-house Sand grey colour for the perimeter cabinetry. The client wanted to add some warmth with copper/bronze handles for the island, whilst retaining a handle-less style for the rest of the kitchen. The Calacatta gold worktops were a perfect match given the warm tones of the material, but also fulfilled the client's requirement for a heat resistant and hard wearing worksurface. Walnut was selected for use on the breakfast bar and shelving to complete the kitchen.

"We loved the poggenpohl design process which allowed us to bring this unique kitchen design and colour combination to life. Poggenpohl listened to our ideas and vision so that we didn't have to compromise on our dream kitchen. The statement blue island had been a dream that Poggenpohl helped us to bring to life"

Designing a contemporary kitchen to fit into a listed building is never easy, but the designers at Norman Glenn rose to the challenge with this Blossom White +SEGMENTO kitchen with high gloss Makassar accent doors. A decorative worktop and splash back adds interest while a triple stack of Miele cooking appliances makes this kitchen as practical to use as it is aesthetically pleasing.

Galley Kitchen

A long narrow room needn't result in a dull layout as proved here by the designers at Norman Glenn.

This Natural ash kitchen with dark bronze handles and black granite worktop, features glass fronted wall units to add interest to the design while the combination of deep drawers and full height units allows for maximum storage. Glass splashbacks and steel Gaggenau appliances help brighten the scheme.

Light and bright

The designer worked with the layout of the room wrapping the kitchen round the architecture, while a separate bar area, with illuminated wall units and antique mirror splashback, further integrates the kitchen into the relaxed living space.

Maximum storage

Maximum storage was created in this Poggenpohl kitchen with a run of floor to ceiling units down one side, incorporating a trio of Gaggenau ovens. The units are in Pebble Grey matt lacquer with Caeserstone composite worktops. Features include a glass fronted wall unit, built in wine fridge and Quooker boiling water tap. The open shelf detail plus the island with breakfast bar help integrate the kitchen into the informal living space.

Hampstead Heath Home

This striking modern home was built close to Hampstead Heath. Planning consent was only given for a low level dwelling and so the architects went underground to create the spacious kitchen and living area. A generous glass light-well keeps the interior bright to best present the Poggenpohl +Segmento handle less kitchen in Stone Grey matt lacquer with contrasting units in oak veneer. The long island unit has a marble worktop finished with a solid walnut breakfast bar at one end. Gaggenau appliances were used throughout.

St Johns Wood Kitchen

For this family kitchen the client chose a matt lacquer door in Polar White. The worktop is composite Silestone in a rich slate grey that works well with the black hob and brushed stainless steel built in ovens. Part of the design brief was to include open shelving to display the client's collection of pottery, including several pieces that she made herself.
