On Thursday, September 26, the Miele Princeton showroom hosted an Oktoberfest celebration with Poggenpohl Philadelphia. The networking event featured traditional German Oktoberfest cuisines, such as roast chicken, green beans, bratwurst, potato salad, and beer. After the meal, Miele Chef Mary Moulds led a Bavarian pretzel-making demo – which brought smiles and laughter to all the designers, architects, and consumers in attendance. On April 10, about 35 interior designers and several other attendees were invited to celebrate the spring issue release party for Philadelphia Interiors. On October 5, Poggenpohl, along with ten other studios and showrooms, opened their doors to professional designers, architects, artists and design-savvy Philadelphians for Design Crawl in Old City District.
Poggenpohl also welcomed artist Tim McFarlane and his famous Transmissions and Echoes exhibit. On June 8th Cambria and Fessenden Hall held an event in the Poggenpohl Philadelphia kitchen studio, located in Old City Philadelphia. The 30 architects and designers in attendance were treated with light fare and adult beverages while they explored Poggenpohl's inspiring kitchen studio’s vignettes.
