An aesthetic efficiency talent

Sören Jungclaus and Mathias Knigge designed the +VENOVO for Poggenpohl. Their aim was to see the kitchen consistently as part of the living space and therefore as furniture.

Urbanisation and mobility are current mega trends. +VENOVO is Poggenpohl's response to them. Seemingly floating on streamlined frames, this kitchen newcomer blends into open spaces that provide an experience – the epitome of freedom and flexibility. The aesthetic efficiency talent that unobtrusively organises all the functions was designed by Sören Jungclaus and Mathias Knigge. During the development it was important to the duo to reinvent kitchens and "see them consistently as part of the living space and therefore as furniture." Their shared concern with +VENOVO: "It has to be attractive, from all sides". Sören Jungclaus has a product design firm called neongrün in Hamburg. He has specialised in the intersection between architecture and design since his studies, his approach goes beyond the purely creative and offers as much added value as possible. Mathias Knigge is a graduate engineer and designer who has been advising companies on the development and design of products since 2004. These are distinguished by being particularly close to the needs of the user.
