A Taste of What’s Trending in Food and Design

On February 26, Poggenpohl hosted an afternoon lunch-and-learn for interior designers and architects to explore the latest trends in food and kitchen design for 2019 and beyond. In partnership with Gaggenau and Chef Kurt VonKahle, attendees received a preview of exclusive new products for Poggenpohl launching this year, while enjoying a chef-inspired tasting and wine pairing.

On February 19, Poggenpohl Dallas hosted The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art for their dinner seminar, Palladio ~ Risotto: A Love Story. Gary Paul demystified the classicism of Palladio and the complexity of Risotto ~ in this talk and demonstration that unites the iconic food of Veneto with the 16th Century farmhouses that became the most powerful icons of architecture enduring almost 500 years.

On March 7, Poggenpohl hosted an exclusive evening gathering for Eric Haydel Design VIP guests to celebrate Mardi Gras and learn about new Poggenpohl products. In partnership with Gaggenau and Chef Kurt VonKahle, attendees received a preview of exclusive new products for Poggenpohl launching this year, while enjoying a chef-inspired New Orleans tastings and cocktails.

Poggenpohl Midtown and the A&D Building in New York City welcomed over 120 members of the ASID (American Association of Interior Designers) and NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) design community for a day of education and networking with a focus on design for the mind, body and soul. CEU courses were held throughout the day for designers to earn ongoing education credits with breaks throughout to wander through selected showrooms to see what the latest new products and trends are. The day was presented by ASID NY Metro Chapter.
